A.G. Russell Knives

This is a very handy tool. During the Great Depression, knives of this type were commonly carried by men who were on the move, looking for work. These men were called Hobos and their common mode of transportation was a train boxcar. The A. G. Russell™ Boxcar Jack consists of a knife and fork that are held together by slots and pins in the liners and can easily be taken apart, resulting in a separate knife and fork.

While most people associate the Ka-Bar name with military knives, they also produce a complete line of leather-handled hunters.

The finely textured Zytel® handle includes SOG's patented Arc-Lock™, a lanyard hole and SOG's "Low-Carry" clip, which keeps the knife hidden within the pocket. When it's clipped on, only the clip is visible.

The Tenacious is the first main line Spyderco® to be made in China. The quality is similar to Japanese or American produced Spyderco® knives and the price is much lower.

I really liked the kitchen knives that Erika Dahmann made for us in Solingen from the 1970s until she sold the company in the mid-1990s. Our new Italian partner is capable of that same quality. Those German knives were bought by a great many of the top handmade knifemakers for use in their own kitchens.
