The Ka-Bar FIN line of folders are sturdy, tactical looking all-purpose folding knives. Each are made with stainless steel handles with an arched back profile and recesses in the sides of the scales to ensure a secure and comfortable grip on the knife.

Introduced in 2007, the Bi-Polar was SOG's first dual assisted knife with twin blades. Using SOG's assisted technology, each blade is propelled into the open position once you start the blade moving. For 2008, SOG has removed the V-Cutter, and added a 2-3/8" fully serrated blade. The perfect rescue knife, whether used by law enforcement, emergency medical personnel or the outdoorsman who needs a knife to quickly handle the many daily predicaments he finds himself in. Dual blades, double lockbars and twin safeties all work to lock the blades closed or double lock the blades open. Includes a hardened steel glass beaker on the end of the handle.

The SOG® Trident™ Folder uses SOG's well-proven S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology™) as a means of opening the blade. With the addition of the Arc-Actuator™, SOG's newest blade release mechanism, the Trident locks stronger and releases easier. There is also a built-in safety to lock the blade closed. Also making the Trident folder unique is the Groove™ in the handle, which allows the operator to cut small cord without having to open the blade. It also features Digi-Grip™, a variable pattern on the handle for a coarser grip.

The finely textured Zytel® handle includes SOG's patented Arc-Lock™, a lanyard hole and SOG's "Low-Carry" clip, which keeps the knife hidden within the pocket. When it's clipped on, only the clip is visible.

The name for the SOG® Vulcan was inspired by the General Electric M61A1 Vulcan, a six-barrel 20mm Gatling-type cannon which is an integral part of the armament of such modern-day fighters as the F-15, F-18, and the F-16.

These knives share a unique design offering a combination of Carson M16 Series features requested by military procurement specialists. The dual grind Tanto blades were specified because they offer maximum strength. The open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt - very rare in folding knives.

After the success of CRKT's M16 Special Forces series, they received requests from professional knife users in the military and law enforcement for the larger "Big Dog" size with a more versatile blade shape. CRKT talked to the designer of the series, retired Sergeant Major and Knifemakers' Guild member Kit Carson, and the M21™ special forces series is the result.

All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing--tip up, tip down, left or right. (Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.)

For their Retribution Folders, Ontario has called on their Italian partner for the expertise necessary to reproduce Jerry Hossom designs. These are very tactical, very distinctively Hossom. It seems that Jerry does not produce folders, but has adapted his 7" Retribution Combat Knife to folders for production by Ontario. Ontario has carried this project off very successfully. The workmanship is top notch.

Remington has created an entire line of Italian made knives, including a line of hunters, both fixed blade and folders, and a line of both fixed blade and folding tacticals. The look is completely new. Certainly not your daddy's Remington knife.

The Nomad is a slightly smaller tactical folder designed by Kirk Rexroat. It features textured black G-10 scales, a flat ground 3" blade of VG-10 stainless steel at 59-61 Rc. with dual thumbstuds. Stainless steel liners and a heavy-duty liner lock. Available in either satin finish or black chrome plated.

This modern version has a 3-5/8" blade of VG-10 at 59-60 Rc. and G-10 scales over stainless liners. Weighing only 6 oz. including the reversible clip, it weighs only half what the original did.

This folder from Al Mar® is called the Shrike, a very interesting tactical designed by ABS Mastersmith Kirk Rexroat.

The SERE, (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) was designed by Al Mar and Col. Nick Rowe in the early 1980s for the the U.S. Army's SERE school. The knives now being made are stronger and use better steel than was then available for folders. This current model is a more convenient size.

Boker, under the label Boker Plus, is producing a series of knives designed to meet the critical demands of the Armed Forces. The Tanto Folder I is one of those knives. Designed for extreme conditions, this folder can stand up to just about anything.

When a series like Kit Carson's aluminum handled line has been so successful, it is bound to spark calls for variations. In this case, the request was for a spear point blade similar to Kit's M18 design. As soon as they saw the first sketches, Columbia River knew they should offer it in two sizes similar to the "Little Bulldog" and "Big Dog".
