The Corian like handle material is both beautiful and easy to handle, washes clean quickly. The design offers the heavy forged bolsters of traditional European cutlery, but modern technology has made possible the lamination of extraordinary VG-10 and the beauty of a 16 layer damascus on each side. This assures greater strength and shock resistance as well as great looks. 59-61 Rc.
As with all sharp knives, and ones with natural handle materials, do not put these knives in the dishwasher or in a sink of water. The best way to wash sharp knives is one at at time by hand.
We have designed a block for this set of knives in order to accommodate the length of the 10" blades. Works beautifully with other knives as well. Holds one of each kitchen knife and a set of 6 steak knives.
