Products to sharpen your knives.
This compact folding sharpener is designed specifically for serrated blades and/or gut-hooks. The cone like shape's surface has a fine, 600 Grit (25 micron). When finished sharpening fold it up, and store it in a kitchen drawer, your toolbox or take it with you on your next camping, hunting, or fishing trip.
I have always admired the triangular rods of Sal's Sharpmaker but did not like the wide angle he used. I see that he now incorporates the 30° angle that I like so well as his basic angle and still includes the 40° angle that used for the edge on thicker blades or to add a micro-bevel to a properly sharpened edge.
The Slide Sharp™ uses a unique system of injection molded nylon guides to hold the knife edge at the specific angle required for optimum sharpening. A hardwood base holds a porcelain sharpening rod. Simply insert the rod in the base, slide a return spring over it, select the sharpening guide needed for your knife, and add the cap. Then pull your blade through the sharpening guide slot pressing down lightly. The return spring pops the guide up again for the next stroke. Repeat the same action as needed in the opposite slot, sharpening both sides of the blade equally, or as needed.
After 25 years of offering diamond sharpening devices, DMT® is adding an assortment of precision engineered, unbreakable ceramic and diamond-ceramic sharpeners to their line of product. This new line incorporates the patented CeraFuse™ process to transform the surface of aluminum to an extremely hard, dense aluminum oxide that has the same properties of solid ceramic materials.
For years I have had a custom set of Eze Lap diamond plates mounted on a block of Rucarta so that I had fine on one side and medium on the other. Now you too can have this. We offer you the 8" X 2" diamond hones 1/8" thick for you to glue (the rubber bathtub caulk works best) to a block.
When something portable is required we have the Gerber diamond knife sharpener.
This is a sharpening idea that I have encouraged someone to produce for over a decade. What a simple and handy little sharpener. The same size and just slightly thicker than a credit card, it easily fits in your pocket or your wallet.
DMT's Double-Sided Diafold® sharpener is made especially for implements requiring a razor-sharp edge for extremely precise operations. The unique polka-dot sharpening surface is featured on one side in Extra-Fine 1200 mesh (9 micron). The other side offers a surface of unbreakable CeraFuse® Ceramic in 2200 mesh (7 micron).
Based on the work of inventor Louis Graves, here is a compact sharpener that will do it all. Two diamond rods for establishing a new bevel and/or thinning a dull blade. Two ceramic rods of very high alumina content to put that razor sharp finished edge on the blade.
DMT's uniquely designed diamond sharpening stones are the finest diamond sharpeners I have ever used. They will hone the hardest material in less time and with less effort than conventional sharpening stones of Novaculite or ceramic.
The ceramic sharpener was invented by Louis Graves. We have always disagreed with Louis about the proper angle for the rods, but in every other way, he really knew what he was doing.
The metal deposits on your ceramic sharpening rods must be removed periodically for best sharpening performance. While kitchen scouring powder will remove most of the build up, this eraser does a better job.
These are the finest Diamond sharpeners that I have ever seen. The base is the most valuable piece of lightweight plastic I have seen in many years. The cost is tiny but the utility is enormous.
A 10" butchers steel covered with industrial diamonds. The fastest working sharpener you can buy.
This oil has been specially formulated for use as a honing oil. It is neither too thick nor too thin, either of which would lead to glazing on your stone.
Set of tapered diamond slip stones for sharpening gouges of all sizes, in a wooden box.
