A.G. Russell Knives

This design is over 50 years old. I first saw it that long ago as an advertising knife from the Ford Motor Company. With modern technology and materials, these are great little knives.

We have made this version in two ways, first with an AUS-8 blade at 57-59 Rc., stainless frame and black hard anodized aluminum handle. The second knife is made with ATS-34 blade at 60-61 Rc., stainless frame and Titanium handle. The blades are deeply hollow ground from stock that is just under 1/8" thick. The General Purpose blade shape makes it ideal for picking splinters, opening letters and boxes, cutting articles from magazines and newspapers. This design, when made as well as it is here, is one of the finest dress knives you can own; slim, compact, interesting to everyone who sees it. You'll want to show these off. Measures 2-7/8" closed and 5-1/8" open. Made in Japan.

Takes a razor edge and holds it quite well. The handles are hard anodized 6061 Aluminum aircraft alloy, widely used in the bicycle industry for its great strength and durability. Weighs 0.9 oz.

This is the high-end. We use the same materials that you will find in handmade knives which sell at much, much higher prices. ATS-34 blade at 60-61 Rc., stainless frame and Titanium handle. Weighs 1.0 oz.
