Thirty five years ago I discovered a small supply of pre-war nail clippers in the inventory of the Hen & Rooster factory. I had just bought the little company, and was disappointed to learn that the tooling for those remarkable clippers had been lost in the war and those remaining were the very last that existed. Because I personally loved those clippers so much, I have never stopped looking for a replacement. We discovered, in Europe, a tiny company to produce a clipper very similar to the one we were selling in the 1970s. These are not at all like American style clippers. They do not crush the nail, causing ragged edges. The razor sharp edges meet exactly and cut clean. Measures only 2-5/16" long and weighs only 0.7 oz. Fits into any fine dress trousers as well as your jeans or her purse. The price is remarkable for such a fine item.
