The Beak, or "the A. G. Russell™ Hawkbill on steroids" as I like to call it, has been a very popular knife, but Goldie and I felt the need for a somewhat smaller version that would fit in your pants pocket, work apron pocket or garden basket.
A few years ago D'Holder designed a knife for me to make and sell. I found handle materials that looked like the natural oosic and amber that D' had used in the prototype and then began to look for someone who could do justice to the original knife and sheath.
If the Skorpion™ looks sort of familiar, it may be because you have seen the handle shape used in other A. G. Russell designed knives. The K-87, K93, K12 and our new mid lock 3" lockback all have this basic handle shape. This is the first time I have used the handle in a frame lock.
