The Eagle, Al Mar's® largest classic folder, was reintroduced in 2007 and is the canvas for this very special collectible. The handle scales are what make this knife so rare. Made of genuine wild elk antler, but not just any elk antler. The antler comes from the big wild bulls that live on the iconic Elk Song Ranch in the Blue Mountains in Eastern Oregon. Elk Song Ranch is a 7,000-acre ranch dedicated to the elk and other wild animals that live there. These naturally shed antlers are collected each spring by Ross and Rich Seyfried, then carefully sorted. Only the ones with special shape and texture are selected for these knife scales. The scales are then hand cut and fitted by renowned custom knifemaker Kirk Rexroat.
The 4" satin finished blade is AUS-8 Laminate at 57-59 Rc. The bolsters are stainless and the liners brass. The locking mechanism is the Al Mar Front Lock. There is no pocket clip; these knives are designed to be carried in your pocket. Measures 4-7/8" closed and weighs 5.0 oz. Ships with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ross Seyfried, Gary Fadden and Kirk Rexroat. Knife made in Japan. Antler added in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $395.00.
