Over the past several years, Gary Fadden, owner of Al Mar knives, has re-introduced the Al Mar Eagle, Hawk and Osprey with nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. He has also introduced the same three models and the Falcon in an Ultralight version with both the Classic style blade and with the Talon blade. The Falcon is the last of these four models to be introduced with traditional construction. It is available with both the Classic blade and the Talon blade (see page 19) and is being offered with Cocobolo or Black Micarta® handle scales. The 3-1/4" satin finished blade of AUS-8 at 57-58 Rc. measures 1/16" thick and 5/8" wide. Measures 4" closed and weighs 3.1 oz. Made in Japan. Suggested retail is $199.00.
