In the early 1980's, Ethan Becker, an avid outdoorsman, founded Becker Knife and Tool, focusing on the large tactical and survival knives he had always wanted for himself. In the late 1990's and early 2000's, Camillus Cutlery, no longer in business, produced some of his most popular designs. In late 2008, Ka-Bar® began introducing some of those same designs.

The Becker Necker features a 3-1/4" flat ground drop point blade available in either Carbon San Mai steel with a Rockwell of 58-59 or 1095 Cro-Van high carbon steel at 56-58 Rc. Carbon San Mai steel has a carbon steel core of Hitachi White Steel 2 sandwiched between two layers of 410 stainless. The 1095 Cro-Van is black powder coated for low reflectivity and corrosion resistance. At the butt end of the knife you will find a wire-breaker/bottle opener. Includes a black glass filled nylon sheath and a 550 paracord lanyard. The updated sheath is made to work with the TDI metal clip (KA1480CLIP . . . . . $8.95, not included) allowing for easy mounting on your belt, in a boot or on a tactical vest. Measures 6-3/4" tip to butt.
