Over the last several months Boker has celebrated their 140th anniversary by introducing small limited edition production runs. Many of the patterns chosen for this series are traditional designs featuring a 140th anniversary old style tree brand shield of nickel silver. These two are no exception.

Many of these knives are making use of existing parts and materials, some of which remain from regular production from years ago. Some of these materials have not been seen on Böker knives in many years.

For their 2009 Annual Damascus Folder, Böker® has chosen a very formidable design by Armin Stutz an Austrian knifemaker. The 3-3/8" modified drop point blade is made from 300 layer "Explosion Damascus" forged by the talented German forger Andreas Henrichs who has created some of the most exquisite damascus found anywhere.
