For their 2009 Annual Damascus Folder, Böker® has chosen a very formidable design by Armin Stutz an Austrian knifemaker. The 3-3/8" modified drop point blade is made from 300 layer "Explosion Damascus" forged by the talented German forger Andreas Henrichs who has created some of the most exquisite damascus found anywhere. The massive integrated locking liner mechanism and bolsters are made of CNC milled titanium for optimum durability and a tremendous reduction in weight. The handle scales are Grenadill. Measures 4-3/8" closed and weighs 5.6 oz. Each knife is individually serial numbered (sorry, no choice of serial number) and includes a beautiful wood presentation case and Certificate of Authenticity. Made in Germany. Suggested retail $819.00. Most of the 999 knives will sell in Europe. Less than 200 usually make it to North America.
