140th Anniversary Collection
In addition to releasing a special limited edition knife each month to commemorate their 140th year in the knife business, Böker® is creating some very short runs of traditional folders with a special 140th Anniversary inlay. Many of these knives are making use of existing parts and materials, some of which remain from regular production from years ago. Some of these materials have not been seen on Böker knives in many years. The Tortoise Celluloid used on these two slip joint folders is such an example. There have been knives produced in the past decade with tortoise celluloid, but it has a different appearance. This old material is more cloudy and has more red coloring rather than gold.
The blades are 1095 carbon steel at 55-57 Rc. A special 140th anniversary old style tree brand shield, nickel silver bolsters and brass liners complete the knife. Made in Germany.
