Commercial hunting guide and knifemaker Russ Kommer has recently teamed up with Browning® to produce a limited edition series of hunting knives representing each of the four Full Curl Sheep. The designs are all Kommer, the manufacture is by Browning. The first two to be delivered are the Dall Sheep and the Stone Sheep. Both knives feature tapered tangs and dove-tailed bolsters. The blades are Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless at 58-59 Rc. and the handle scales are genuine sheep horn. The bolsters are engraved on the obverse side with an image of the sheep and on the reverse side with the name of the sheep set in a banner. Overall length of the Dall Sheep is 7-1/8" and the Stone Sheep is 7-3/4". Each individual knife includes a glass top display box with a lithograph of the species of sheep represented on the knife.
