"Chipped Flint" Blade and Jasper Arrow Inlay

The Buck® 110 has been used many times as a platform for unusual and unique materials and processes. It may be one of the most collected knives in the country. One of the limited offerings coming out of the Buck Custom Shop this year is the 110 with a 420HC blade ground to resemble chipped flint and handle scales of black buffalo horn with a bloody jasper arrowhead inlay. Buck was the first manufacturer to make use of a technique developed by knifemaker Bill Chetham to make a steel blade resemble chipped flint. The first manufactured knives using this method were the Buck David Yellowhorse Cuthair fixed blades produced by Buck beginning in 1990.

Rugged, yet refined, this model 110 is sure to be a favorite. The 3-3/4" clip point blade is 420HC at 57-59 Rc. with nickel silver bolsters and liners. Measures 4-3/4" closed and weighs 6.2 oz. Includes a black distressed leather belt pouch. Made in the U. S. A. Suggested retail is $230.00.
