A.G. Russell Knives

Tom Mayo began making knives in late 1981, but his love of knives started when he was a young boy, probably in the way most young men develop a love of knives: by knives being passed down or given as gifts by an older generation. He began collecting more and more knives as he grew older and eventually began making his own designs. He has been designing knives for Buck for the last several years.

The Model 172 Mayo TNT with Carbon Fiber is a high performance knife that has been enhanced with a Carbon Fiber and Titanium handle. The incredibly smooth opening allows you to open the knife by using the thumbhole and a quick flick of the wrist. The 3-1/8' drop point blade is premium S30V stainless steel at 59-60 Rc. A frame lock, it measures 4-1/4' closed and weighs 1.2 oz. Limited edition of 250 serial numbered pieces. (Sorry, no choice of serial number.) Comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and a black wooden case. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $450.00. With a 250 piece limited edition, we were allowed only 20 knives.
