The BUCK Smidgen is a compact, high-quality American-made fixed blade knife. The entire knife is made of durable 420HC stainless steel at 57-59 Rc., and conveniently stowed in an injection molded Nylon sheath. The Smidgen is intended for anyone needing a small, easily accessible knife.

In January this year, we arranged for him to complete a maximum of 100 hunters with a creative variation of the same theme. He has created images on both the obverse and reverse sides of the handle scales, not just a repeat as you might expect, but the obverse side has an image of the tiger walking toward you and the reverse side, an image of the tiger walking away from you. Very nice!

Canal Street Cutlery® took their Moon Pie Trapper, removed the long spey blade and made it a Half Moon Pie Trapper.

CRKT® liked the concept of the pendant/money clip knife and worked with Boyd to create a production Ashworth Turtle™ series. This is a useful knife suited to hundreds of daily tasks from clipping recipes to opening packages or sharpening pencils.

In 1943 there existed two H. Böker companies, one in Solingen, Germany and one in New Jersey. The New Jersey company had been expropriated by the U.S. early in WWI. During WWII the U. S. government ordered production of the new M3 Trench Knife from nine companies.

The design is from Oregon knifemaker Bob Lum, but the name is all Benchmade - Bob calls it an All Rounder. The name Dejavoo does seem to better fit the elegance and uniqueness of this knife.

Only a few years ago Tinus, a teacher of Afrikaans and other subjects at an English School in South Africa, had never seen a handmade knife. His world changed when a friend showed him a knife that the friend had made. Tinus describes it as being rough indeed, but it inspired him to attempt his own. His knives improved for several years, but it was not until Tinus began selling outside South Africa that knifemaking became profitable.

The steel-headed tomahawk arrived with the French fur trappers as trade goods and quickly became a prized possession of the American Indian. Many designs were in use, varying from the simple hatchet to the elaborately decorated multi-use pieces.

Gary Fadden, president of Al Mar® Knives, is focusing on producing knives from the best designs produced while Al Mar was in charge of his company. The Ultralight series, which Al Mar Knives began producing several years before Al died, made use of a concept that W. C. Davis and I pioneered in the early 1970s; a linerless phenolic resin (Micarta®) handle.

Tim Wegner's Mouse-Lite is a light weight and economically priced version of his Mouse2 produced by Blade-Tech in the U.S.A. The 1-7/8" blade is 440C at 58-60 Rc.

Rope Cutting Competitions have become a spectator sport and are showing up more and more at knife shows around the country. The only two men to win an American Bladesmith (ABS) World Cutting Championship are James Crowell and Reggie Barker.

This Fisk Sendero Hunter is the fourth, and last, model Camillus produced in the OVB line.

This is a very slim version of the original Canadian Belt Knife designed in the late 1950's. It has been termed by one of our surgeon customers "handy as a fine scalpel".
