Mica Pearl, a unique resin based handle material, was developed to be an alternative to Celluloid. It is 100% stable, it will not burn or change color with age. Each color is developed in an atmospherically controlled environment, poured and controlled so each handle scale pattern is unique with a blend of black, gold and white. We have offered several models with this handle material, a Stockman, Doctor's knife, Half Moon Pie Trapper and a Muskrat, and we have a couple other models planned.

For this current version, we have chosen Canal Street's Cannitler, a medium sized Canoe, configured as a Whittler. This unusual slip joint folder has a 2-3/4" Spear point main blade, with a 1-3/4" cut-off pen blade and a 1-1/2" sheepfoot blade at the other end, all of D2 stainless steel at 59-61 Rc. The bolsters are nickel silver, and the liners and coined Canal Street shield are brass. Measures 3-5/8" closed and weighs 3.2 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
