In 2006, Kershaw® introduced the Groove with much success. This was the first knife to make use of computerized 3-D machining equipment to create a unique striation pattern below the grind line of the blade. The Zing is a small and less expensive knife with the same blade striations. Very cool.

Boker's® 2007 annual Damascus knife was recognized with the Best Imported Knife of the Year® award at the 2008 Blade® Show in Atlanta. Because of this award, Boker® was motivated to use the Zirconia model as the vehicle to showcase their first use of Mosaic Damascus.

Swiss Army knives are carried on belts, in purses and in pockets all over the world. It is probably one of the most recognized brands known today. For the Swiss Army Rescue Tool, Victorinox worked in close collaboration with rescue and safety services to design the best possible rescue tool.

At the 2007 Blade Show, Kershaw introduced an innovative twist on knife blade construction. They have developed a process where they fit two different steels together to create a blade. The primary purpose for creating a blade in this manner is to allow the manufacturer to use a lesser quality steel for the spine and one of the new expensive high performance steels for the cutting edge.

The Zilla-Tool™ Jr. is a response to requests for a smaller, lighter version of the full-size Zilla-Tool™. CRKT® calls it the little monster. When a series like Kit Carson's aluminum handled line has been so successful, it is bound to spark calls for variations. Boker, under the label Boker Plus, is producing a series of knives designed to meet the critical demands of the Armed Forces. The Tanto Folder I is one of those knives. Designed for extreme conditions, this folder can stand up to just about anything.

This modern version has a 3-5/8" blade of VG-10 at 59-60 Rc. and G-10 scales over stainless liners. Weighing only 6 oz. including the reversible clip, it weighs only half what the original did.

This folder from Al Mar® is called the Shrike, a very interesting tactical designed by ABS Mastersmith Kirk Rexroat.

A great little pocket piece with a clip that makes it an ideal money clip as well as holding it at the top of the pocket.
