The trapper is a jack knife with two specific blades - full length clip blade, and a full length spey blade. Although trappers range in length from 4-½″ to 3″ or less, they generally have those two blades.

There was a time when every man who spent time out of doors carried a trapper or a stockman as the situation demanded. Today, antique trappers are highly sought after knives. The trappers on this page aren't antiques, but are made in the traditional style with modern materials and techniques. Some are purely collectibles - others are great for everyday usage.
