The Leek is an assisted opening knife designed by Cutlery Hall of Fame member Ken Onion. We have asked Santa Fe Stoneworks to take a standard Leek and turn it into something spectacular.

Inspired by the quick action of a switchblade, the Auto-Tek Sharpening steel instantly deploys and is ready to put a perfect edge on any knife. Just push up on the button to release the steel from the handle, while a pull back on the button automatically retracts it.

One of Kershaw's most popular hunting knives is now available in safety orange. The Antelope Hunter II Orange features a robust, 3-5/8" drop-point skinning blade of tough AUS8A stainless steel at 57-59 Rc.

The newest member in Kershaw's filet knife family is the 7-1/2". In addition to its flexible filet blade, it features a secure grip contoured handle and comes with it's own ABS sheath for carrying and storage.

In 2006, Kershaw® introduced the Groove with much success. This was the first knife to make use of computerized 3-D machining equipment to create a unique striation pattern below the grind line of the blade. The Zing is a small and less expensive knife with the same blade striations. Very cool.

The PackRat is the newest addition to Kershaw’s series that they refer to as "Work Knives Built". Included in this series is Needs Work and OSO Sweet. Each knife is designed and built with the idea that it is going to spend a lot of time in your hand. The PackRat’s curved and textured G-10 handles fit smoothly into the palm of your hand for a secure grip and extended use.

At the 2001 S.H.O.T. Show, Kershaw introduced two Ken Onion designs. Playing upon Ken's name they called them their fresh onions, and one of them was the Scallion. The original Scallion had injection-molded polyamide handle scales and like most other Onion designs, featured Ken's Speed-Safe torsion bar mechanism for smooth assisted opening.

At the 2007 Blade Show, Kershaw introduced an innovative twist on knife blade construction. They have developed a process where they fit two different steels together to create a blade. The primary purpose for creating a blade in this manner is to allow the manufacturer to use a lesser quality steel for the spine and one of the new expensive high performance steels for the cutting edge.

The Kershaw® Leek was designed by Ken Onion and makes use of his SpeedSafe® assisted opening system. It has been produced for several years with many different handle materials and is one of the most popular Kershaw models we sell. It is quite understandable that the Leek would be chosen as one of the first models to be built using Kershaw's new method of fitting two disparate steels together to create a blade.

The Oso Sweet is a classic Ken Onion design with a twist - a handle of injection molded glass-filled nylon handle with a distinctive scales pattern. It features the patented SpeedSafe® assisted opening system for smooth, easy opening.

The newest in the line of Flipper knives from Kershaw is the Skyline, a super slim version that's ideal for pocket carrying.

One of the most recent models from Kershaw® in the Onion series is the Shallot. The largest yet, it is truly a full size knife. As with the other models, it makes use of Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted ambidextrous opening.

Designed with the Orange County Choppers logo, the Leek features a Tungsten DLC black-coated 3" blade made from Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel at 57-59 Rc. Whether you are left- or right-handed; open this knife easily by using the thumb stud or finger protrusion.

The Outcast Bush Knife features a big 10" machete style blade made from D-2 tool-steel for wear resistance and toughness. For stain resistance the blade is coated with black Teflon®.

As part of their line of their classic Rosewood series, Kershaw offers the ultimate in multi-function convenience. The keychain knife features satin finished steel with genuine rosewood inlays.

Kerhaw® continues to produce knives utilizing the Ken Onion SpeedSafe locking system. Inspired by Orange County Choppers Web Bike this Blur is a souped up version of the original. The 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handle features a raised spider web machined into it with a long-legged spider and the OCC chopper logo to add to the look.

Designed with the serious hunter in mind, the Northside Hunter has an ergonomic handle design and an angled blade design to help make field dressing an easier task.

It is a very interesting locking system that really functions as both a lock and a minimal assist to the Flipper opening. It opens using the ambidextrous Flipper system or the three thumbstuds on the blade. Use the thumbstuds for one hand opening and it works like any other non-assisted one hand opener. Use the Flipper and you will detect a very slight assist to the opening.

Kershaw's latest model in the Onion series, that began with the Chive, is the Shallot.

The unique Ken Onion action on the Kershaw® knives gets smoother with every model. These knives open with what Kershaw® calls the "Speed Safe®" action. You open it 20% and the knife opens itself the remaining 80%.

In 2006, Kershaw® introduced the Groove. With its all-new blade style, it became one of the more popular choices. This year, they have taken the knife to a new level. They have added a Tanto style blade and coated both the blade and handle with a black Tungsten DLC coating.

Designed for the serious hunter, the Elk Skinner II combines a drop point blade and a guthook of sturdy AUS-8 stainless steel at 57-59 Rc. AUS-8 is a tough steel with excellent corrosion resistance.

"Price Reduced"

The Kershaw Ener-G is a new breed of easy open knives, using the "pseunetic®" opening feature. The blade is held in the closed position until deployed by pulling on the extended tang located at the front of the spine that along with a quick flick of the wrist rotates the blade to its open position.

Kershaw's Leek series has included some of our more popular knives. And it's no wonder; the Leeks offer both Ken Onion's distinctive design as well as the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. With SpeedSafe, the user can smoothly and easily deploy the blade with one hand, either left or right. For 2007, Kershaw is offering a more tactical version.

The Junkyard Dog, designed by Tim Galyean, features the new Kershaw Index open system, which utilizes an ambidextrous blade flipper. Just use your index finger and a quick flick of your wrist and blade pops open.

Needs Work is a lightweight utility-style knife that is perfect for everyday carry. For excellent corrosion and wear resistance, Kerhaw has chosen Sandvik 13C26 at 58-60 Rc. for the blade and polymide, an engineering polymer that exhibits an exceptional combination of thermal stability and mechanical toughness, for the handle.

Kerhaw® continues to produce knives utilizing the Ken Onion SpeedSafe locking system. In 2007, they introduced the S30V Blur. This version has a 3-3/8" S30V stainless steel blade at 57-59 Rc., with a stone washed finish.

The E.T. (External Toggle) opens and closes by manipulating the handle which is jointed at about 5 points. They call it a toggle lock. No spring involved. Do be careful learning to open and close it. It has a needle point and is razor sharp. I have the scar to prove it. A lock at the bottom of the handle locks the knife in the closed position. Includes a built in carabiner for hanging on your clothing or gear.

The JYD II is just what the name implies, heavy-duty performance without a lot of frills. It utilizes a new one-handed opening system, use your index finger on the flipper and a quick flick of the wrist and the knife will open both smoothly and quickly for either hand.

What a handy little tool for those of us who carry one of the many knives being produced today using Torx fasteners. This catalog is full of knives with Torx fastners to attach handle scales to the knife frame or to hold pocket clips that are removable or reversible.

The Offset's rugged and complex blade geometry is provided through state-of-the-art Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and hot isostatic pressing. The result is a precision blade with two bevel geometries, hollow and flat, for incredible cutting power. This process produces a premium 440-CPM stainless-steel blade with complex, true 3-D geometry.

Kershaw's Cyclones feature an innovative "on/off option" that lets you decide when to use the SpeedSafe® assisted-opening system or when to use the manual operation. Simply flip the roll-switch on the knife's spine to choose manual opening or the engage the SpeedSafe system. The E.T. from Kershaw has been one of our most unusual and popular offerings. Kershaw has made it even more unusual with a brand new handle finish called Urban Camo, a unique splatter paint effect. The TwoCan is a nice little knife with a carabiner bail for attaching to your key ring. When you open the second blade it is also a really nice pair of snips, the nicest pocket scissors I have seen in over 25 years.

The Kershaw Mini Mojito combines Speedsafe® assisted opening with Kershaw's patented Stud Lock, a lock release system that is contained entirely in the blade. The knife opens by pulling the kick back like most assisted opening knives today, but the lock release is contained in the blade thumbstud rather than in the handle.

Military knife lovers will want to get their hands on this Kershaw Boot Knife. It has a quick-release sheath with multiple carry options, including under the coat. CPM-440V is one of the state of the art tool steels now used for high end knives. It is not only more expensive but noticeably harder to work. There are a few other powder metal steels that will give similar performance but none that are measurably better at edge holding.

Small enough to attach to your belt or backpack, yet sturdy enough for any job. Made from one piece drop forged construction with Kraton handles for a sure grip in any condition. A 3-1/2" cutting edge allows for plenty of working area.
