Columbia River Knife and Tool is one of the most successful of the half dozen or so specialty knife companies to begin production in the last two decades in response to the burgeoning thousands of knife buyers who have sprung into being in that period. Their specialty has been really interesting designs at VERY reasonable prices. Using good working steels and reasonable production costs has made it possible for the newest knife styles to fit any person's pocketbook.
Here they are working with a premium blade steel, AUS-8 at 57-59 Rc., and 6061 T-6 Aircraft Alloy handles with a Titanium Gray Anodized finish. The 420 stainless removable pocket clip is coated with a Titanium Gray Teflon, and the liner lock is 420 stainless steel. This knife is made in two sizes with two blade styles, combined serrated and plain and non-serrated, each knife can be had in either red, blue or black inlays.
The basic lock is that invented by Mike Walker, the knife also has the Lake-Walker safety that converts the knife to fixed blade security when engaged. The "Carson Flipper" means easier opening and a guard to keep the hand from the blade.
3-1/4" blade, closed length 4 3/8", weighs 3.5 oz.
