This folding hunter is a revival of one introduced about 40 years ago by Grohmann Knives and patterned after the original D. H. Russell Canadian Belt Knife. This design with the "Wasp Waist" swept the World in the late 1950s. It was copied by at least three makers in Europe and I believe, two in this country. The lock seems much better fitted than that in the original version.

Measures 5" closed with a 3-3/4" blade of high carbon stainless steel, nickel silver bolsters, liners and pins, and Rosewood scales. Weighs 5.6 oz. Hand stitched leather sheath. Suggested retail is $140.00. Made in Nova Scotia.
