A few years ago a wood carving enthusiast decided he could do a better job of making wood carving knives than all of the firms in Germany and Switzerland who had dominated the wood carving tool industry for centuries. It turned out he knew what he was talking about. His little tool business has grown and grown and is now well known to wood carvers everywhere.

Each carving knife is made with a well designed handle of Ash, shaped to allow hours of work without cramping the muscles of the hand. The blades are high carbon tool steel, honed and polished to a razor-like edge, which you can maintain by stropping.

We have chosen the four knives we judge most useful to a beginning carver or to those more experienced carvers who have never used these great knives. The four knives include a roughing knife with a 2" straight blade for heavier stock removal, a cutting knife with a 1-1/2" blade with a rounded point for tip strength, a detail knife with a 1-1/2" fine point blade for making very narrow cuts, and a mini detail knife with a 3/4" straight blade for very delicate cuts. Includes a wooden box to protect and store your knives.
