I recently saw a number of very fine handmade folders by makers like Ron Lake, Royal Hanson and T.M. Dowell, all further enhanced by top engravers. Every knife had been used as a steak knife. I understand a gentleman's desire to use his own knife for cutting meat, even when dining in the finest restaurants. I carry my own because I like my meat cut, not shredded by one of those things they try to pass off as a steak knife. Instead of ruining a very high dollar collectible knife, why not carry one of these simple but elegant folders from Italy.

The 3" slim drop point blade is N690Co stainless at 58-60 Rc. The blade is held securely in the open position with a liner style lock. This is a very slim knife. It can be carried unobtrusively in a shirt or jacket pocket. Measures 3-7/8" closed and weighs 1.6 oz. Made in Italy. Ships in a gift tin.
