In 1971, the first serious commemorative knife with a special inlay was created for the Knife Collector's Club™. It sold to members for $12.00. Today that same knife sells at prices up to $150.00. This Grandaddy Barlow was the second commemorative knife produced for members of the Knife Collector's Club™. A very small quantity has been held in our personal collection.

This large barlow was designed by A. G. Russell and produced by Camillus. It is a big knife with a 3-7/8" tough extra thick blade (.149") of high-carbon corrosion-resistant steel at 57-59 Rc. The bolsters and inlay are 18% Nickel Silver. The Delrin® bone stag scales are backed with Brass liners. All knives are serial numbered (sorry, no choice available). Measures 5" closed and weighs 5.1 oz.
