In late 2002, Ka-Bar introduced the first Dozier lightweight folder, the Spear Point Hunter. Since then there have been several variations of blade styles introduced. For 2009, they have stuck with the spear point blade with thumb-stud version and added a black coating to the blade and 3 different handle colors: blaze orange, foliage green and coyote brown.

The 3" hollow ground blade is AUS-8 at 56-58 Rc. fitted into a 4-1/4" handle of Zytel® with a Lockback design that is secure and positive. The clip and thumb stud are both reversible so the knife is truly ambidextrous. Weighs 2.3 oz. Suggested retail $30.21. Made in Taiwan.
