The Little Fin is one of six classically styled leather handled hunters. It has been a popular part of the KA-BAR product line since the early 1900's. Its classic straight point blade shape had made this a favorite among many hunters.

This Hunter is dressy enough to give as a gift and very practical for field use. The blade measures 3-1/8" x 5/8" and is made from tough DIN 1.4116 stainless steel at 55-57 Rc. The stacked leather handle is slightly belled out in the middle and has finger grips to fit well in hand.

The Skinner is one of six classically styled leather handled fixed blades and has been part of the KA-BAR product lines since the early 1900's. The blade measures 4-3/8" and measures 15/16" at its widest point.

Released in 2007, the leather handled hunter with guthook is an addition to the classically styled line of 6 stacked leather handled fixed blades. The blade measures 3-1/4" and measures 1-3/8" at its widest point near the guthook.

More and more of the production makers are beginning to emulate handmade knifemaker Bob Dozier in the use of D-2 high carbon, high-chrome tool steel. This outstanding knife steel is one of the few that is "tougher than a cob" at 60-61 Rc. D-2 does not have quite enough chrome to be designated "Stainless," but it is very close indeed.
