The Kershaw® Lahar (according to Webster - "a moving fluid mass . . . . ") designed by Tim Galyean features a flipper for ambidextrous one-handed index finger opening. All that's needed is a slight roll of the wrist to assist the blade in the opening motion. A blade thumbstud is provided for those who prefer a different method of opening. The blade locks open using a liner-style lock. The 3-1/2" upswept blade is VG-10 stainless-steel at 60-62 Rc. Textured G-10 scales offer superior grip in wet conditions and the pocket clip is both removable and reversible. Suggested retail is $99.95. Made in Japan.
