The PackRat is the newest addition to Kershaw’s series that they refer to as "Work Knives Built". Included in this series is Needs Work and OSO Sweet. Each knife is designed and built with the idea that it is going to spend a lot of time in your hand. The PackRat’s curved and textured G-10 handles fit smoothly into the palm of your hand for a secure grip and extended use. The 3" upswept blade of high-carbon Sandvik 14C28N stainless at 58-60 Rc. gives you great edge holding blade that is ideal for a wide range of everyday tasks.

The patented SpeedSafe® assisted opening system assures smooth, easy one-handed opening, right or left-handed, and a locking liner keeps the blade in place until you choose to close it.
