One of the most recent models from Kershaw® in the Onion series is the Shallot. The largest yet, it is truly a full size knife. As with the other models, it makes use of Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted ambidextrous opening. The 3-1/2" clip point blade of Sandvik 14C28N at 58-60 Rc. has a slightly re-curved cutting edge. The frame-lock handle is 410 stainless with a reversible/removable pocket clip for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. Easy to carry and easy to deploy. Both the handle and blade are black Tungsten DLC coated for low reflectivity and corrosion resistance. Measures 4-3/8" closed and weighs 4.2 oz. Available in plain or combination edge.
