Over the past ten years or so, H. P. Klötzli has produced several knives designed by Michael Walker, inventor of the "Walker Lock" and the "Zipper Blade", both innovations that have made their way to mainstream knife design. The Sailor was first introduced by Klötzli in 2000, and was carried by A. G. Russell™ through 2003, in a solid stainless handle with an interestingly textured surface.
This current version features coarse black G10 handle scales with a single liner, reducing the weight significantly and providing a highly positive grip. The 2-7/8" deeply hollow ground blade of ATS-34 at 58-60 Rc. has a satin finish. Includes a stainless pocket clip. Measures 3-3/4" closed and weighs 2.2 oz. Made in Switzerland.
