The Devil's Brigade, officially known as the 1st Special Service Force, was organized in July of 1942. During WWII, this special task force of American and Canadian soldiers completed missions in the Aleutian Islands, Italy and southern France before being disbanded in December 1944.

The Böker® Plus VAT is a multi-purpose prying tool for your key ring or pocket. This handy little tool is a collaboration between Böker Plus and Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes.

This fixed blade, designed by knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes of Denmark, is part of the Böker Plus® line and fills their void of a full size camp knife. The full tang construction with mounted G-10 scales and extremely tough D2 tool steel makes this an extraordinarily rugged knife.

Dietmar Kessler is one of Germany's best and most well known knifemakers. One of his most highly sought after models is his integral sub-hilted fighter. Newton Martin is a young knifemaker from Texas, known for rugged fixed blades, who recently started designing and making folding knives as well. His model "Nopal" got its name from the Texan word for the cactus plant, whose leaves replicate the shape of the closed knife.

For many years, Boker® offered a Magnum Collectors Knife in serial numbered limited editions, each conceived by well-known knife designers. These knives were so popular in Europe that many customers in the U.S.A. were unable to purchase one. In 2009, to solve that problem, Boker began a “U.S.A. only” yearly series of Boker Plus Collector’s knives. The first knife offered was designed by William C. “Bill” Johnson, and sold out very quickly. This second knife is designed by custom knifemaker David Broadwell from Texas whose custom designs are known for their flowing lines and meticulous fit and finish. This fixed blade design is a great example of his work and seemed to Boker to be a perfect fit for this new limited edition series.

Known predominately for his elegant and well-balanced pocketknives, Mike Skellern's designs are a great addition to the Boker Plus line. Mastersmith Jerry Fisk is the most recent knifemaker to collaborate on a production knife with Boker®. Produced as part of the Boker Plus® line, the Fiskmuk was conceived by Jerry as the ultimate folding skinner for the hunter and an extremely versatile general-purpose everyday carry knife.

Bob Dozier's knives have become some of the most popular handmade knives in the country. The Arkansas Made Dozier fixed blade hunting knife is a bare bones knife designed as a simple, highly functional knife for the serious user.

Today some of the most popularly collected knives are military, especially those made for WWII. One of the more common is the U.S. Navy Mark 1. It was produced by a number of cutlery companies, including Boker, each in their own style. As the name implies, the U.S. Navy Mark 1 was originally designed for sailors to cut line.

As a knife designer, I seldom find as much to enjoy as I have in these knives designed by Mike Skellern of South Africa and produced in China for Boker Plus. The blades fill the handles and are hollow ground so well I am looking for the maker in China to make knives for me.

This Trapper features a double lockback mechanism, brown bone handle, stainless steel bolsters and high carbon stainless steel blades.

These traditional knives take us back to the good ol’ times. Fine polished brass bolsters and yellow synthetic handle scales.

Shortly after World War II, General Curtis LeMay, then head of the Strategic Air Command (SAC), authorized the creation of a survival kit for crews of the long-range bombers. Requirements were that the knife it contained had to be an effective tool for survival in the wild with the ability to perform a number of functions including field dressing and cleaning fish. A must was that it had to be lightweight.

This innovative knife was designed by American designers Miltner Adams. With its Top Grip construction, it is 100% safe in your hand in any situation. The handle design allows the user to open his hand in order to grab or hold another object without risk of losing the knife.

Bob Dozier has been one of America's foremost makers of handmade knives since about 1968. He makes some of the finest and most practical handmade knives you'll find. Recently, he has teamed up with Böker® of Germany, a one hundred year old plus international knife manufacturer, and the finest knife manufacturer left in Germany, to produce several of his designs. One of those designs is the Anchorage Pro Hunter.

In 1943 there existed two H. Böker companies, one in Solingen, Germany and one in New Jersey. The New Jersey company had been expropriated by the U.S. early in WWI. During WWII the U. S. government ordered production of the new M3 Trench Knife from nine companies.

In early 2006, Boker introduced the Subcom folder, designed by Chad Los Baños. It quickly became one of our more popular sellers for the year. Its compact size coupled with its full sized blade made a very pocketable folder.

This interesting little knife is from Böker®. It is made in Taiwan and carries their Magnum mark. They call it the Sub Com Folder, I call it the Sturdy Little Knife.

From the island of Hilo, Hawaii, designed by Chad Los Baños, comes the Boker Trance. It has a slightly larger size from the popular Subcom, and combines a powerful AUS-8 stainless steel blade and an ergonomically shaped handle.
