The Onslaught, designed by the late Bob Lum, received the Shooting Industry Magazine's 2010 Academy of Excellence Knife of the Year award. It measures a full 9-5/8" open and was the first Bob Lum design with the AXIS lock.

SOG® calls this version of the extremely popular Spec Elite a Mini, but I would call it a Stubby. While this version is smaller (shorter), it definitely is not a miniature. Spencer Fraser has done what I often do, and has taken some of the length out of the middle of both the handle and the blade. He has kept the same shape for the glass-reinforced handle, just shortened it. The shortening of the blade has resulted in an exciting new blade shape.

The Fatcat is the largest and most massive folder SOG® Specialty Knives has ever produced. Not intended for the main stream, it is designed with heavy work in mind. For its size, it is amazingly light and quick to open.

This minimalist knife (3/16" thick without the clip) won't take up much room in your wallet or pocket or attached to a ballistic vest. It is also light weight enough to be worn as a neck knife.

The finely textured Zytel® handle includes SOG's patented Arc-Lock™, a lanyard hole and SOG's "Low-Carry" clip, which keeps the knife hidden within the pocket. When it's clipped on, only the clip is visible.

The name for the SOG® Vulcan was inspired by the General Electric M61A1 Vulcan, a six-barrel 20mm Gatling-type cannon which is an integral part of the armament of such modern-day fighters as the F-15, F-18, and the F-16.

It is a very interesting locking system that really functions as both a lock and a minimal assist to the Flipper opening. It opens using the ambidextrous Flipper system or the three thumbstuds on the blade. Use the thumbstuds for one hand opening and it works like any other non-assisted one hand opener.
