Buck®'s creation of a limited production of the Paradigm folder is a logical move in my opinion. First offered in 2010, the Paradigm introduced Buck's new Shift Mechanism™, a locking mechanism that is controlled by a rotating bolster.

Each year, David Yellowhorse and Buck® produce several Yellowhorse-enhanced Buck knives. This year, they have limited the number of models to only two.

David Yellowhorse, a well-known and respected Navajo artist has been creating beautiful works of art for Buck® Knives for many years. A fourth generation silversmith, David creates custom handle work in the tribal tradition on many types of knives. Buck typically releases two to five David Yellowhorse limited editions each year. The first in 2011 is this Model 113 Classic Skinner, titled "Wild Mustangs".

The knives offered in Buck's Legacy Series are all beautiful, handcrafted models meant for collectors and knife enthusiasts alike. These custom knives are created by some of the most renowned knife artists, as well as Buck's own in-house staff, making each piece a work of art. A Legacy knife is meant to be a treasured piece, and they often become family heirlooms handed down for many generations.

For many years, Buck® has offered a series of limited editions as a part of their Heritage Collection. For this latest 500-piece limited edition they have chosen to bring back the Model 121 Guide. This model has not been made for several years and except for this special limited edition version, it is not in their current line.

The Buck® Vantage Pro has gotten rave reviews since it was introduced, That's why it was no surprise when Buck chose it as the third offering in the 2010 David Yellowhorse series. David Yellowhorse, a fourth generation Navajo silversmith, is well known in the knife industry for creating knife handles with Navajo themes from the many semi-precious stones found throughout New Mexico and Arizona. Over the years, he has worked with many knife manufacturers to produce a series of limited edition knives.

The Gen-5 was designed by Josh Buck, son of the current company president, and the fifth generation Buck to be involved in the company. Like his father and grandfather, Josh spends his summers working in different parts of the company. He spent the summer of 2006 on the production floor and it was there that he designed the knife known as the Buck® Gen-5™ Skinner.

Since 1985, Böker has offered a yearly Damascus Collector's folder. The knives have ranged in style from traditional to gentleman's tactical. For 2010, they have chosen to work with the traditional Böker Canoe.

Each year, collectors look forward to new knives in Buck's® Legacy Collection. The Bear Claw series is a prime example of why Wilde Bill Cody has been one of the most popular designers of that collection. Both functional and artistic, these knives are made to be used, but are mostly collected.

Buck's® Model 905 Bowie is the third knife in their 2010 Bear Claw Legacy Collection Series. It is a perfect match to the model 110 and 503 also offered in a limited production of 250 pieces.

The Chuck Buck/A.G. Russell Signature knife will be limited to a total of 500 pieces of signed and serial numbered knives – 250 with Black Lip Pearl and 250 with India Stag.

Since Buck® is in the business of making knives and I have been known to design a knife or two, we decided that I would design the knife and Buck would produce it in their factory in Idaho.

For 2008, Buck® created a series of three knives inspired by the artistry of handcrafted guitars. The handles are crafted from actual guitar fret material and abalone dots set in rich cocobolo wood scales. The first in this series is the Buck® Gen-5™, a fixed blade knife introduced in 2007.
