Designed by custom knifemaker and International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame inductee Gil Hibben, the Pro Thrower Axe is constructed of one-piece tempered stainless steel and features a perfectly balanced axe head and a trigger grip handle design that guides the hand into the same consistent and accurate release each time it is thrown.

Master knifemaker Gil Hibben designed this Bowie for the 2010 movie The Expendables, a hard-hitting action movie about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. The film stars Sylvester Stallone, who is a long time collector of Gil Hibben Knives. Gil has a history of designing knives that are featured in Stallone films.

Gil Hibben made his first knife after retiring from the Navy in 1956. Over the years he has achieved fame as a custom knifemaker and has developed a who's-who following of knife collectors. He has designed several knives for Sylvester Stallone movies, including several for Stallone's 2010 release, The Expendables.

United's Bowie is loosely based on a Joe Musso Bowie knife of the 1830s. Originally described as a large butcher knife, this style of knife gained popularity after an infamous fight involving Col. James Bowie, who successfully defended himself against two others with a knife similar to this.
