Twenty-one years ago Remington Arms Co. issued the first official reproduction of the most popular of all of the original "Bullet" knives of the early 1900s. The "Trapper" that Remington produced with the cartridge inlay of the then popular .30 Remington cartridge, was to become a knife collectors icon. Remington® Elite Skinner™ Series I - Fixed Blade

The Elite Skinner™ Series consisted of four exciting new skinners. Series I consisted of two fixed blade knives with deep bellied skinner blades, one with a guthook. Both with Olive Wood handle scales. Most interesting are the two knives in Series II. These are folders, but Remington® designed a carrying system (sheath) that allows them to be carried either as a folder or as a fixed blade.
