Bark River Lil' Nessy

Since 1884, people have been reading Woodcraft by George "Nessmuk" Sears. In Sears' childhood a young Narragansett Indian named Nessmuk ("wood drake") befriended him and taught him hunting, fishing and camping. It was from this friend that he took the pen name which he used through most of his life and which inspired the name for a camp knife design of the same name. Some variation of this design has been made by custom knifemakers for over one hundred years.

Mike Stewart has always believed that the way to success in the knife business was to offer the customer new designs and great value. The Lil' Nessy is another example of that vision.

With the Nessmuk as inspiration, Mike has created a small hunting knife with a 4" blade of 52100 at 58-60 Rc. dressed with a genuine India Stag Crown handle and brass bolster. You will like this one. The stag is very limited, we only have 100 on hand. Measures 9-1/4" overall and weighs 7.0 oz. Knife made in the U. S. A. Leather sheath made in Serbia. Bark River's suggested retail is $225.00.
