Buck® Knives went from hand made in a Southern California Garage to a factory knife, about the same time we began the A. G. Russell Knife Mail Order Business. Over the past thirty some years Buck has become one of the largest and most important knife companies in the world.

Over the years, one of Buck's most popular fixed-blade hunting knives has been the 119 special. The polished aluminum butt and guard and ebony colored phenolic handle make it an attractive addition to your hunting gear.

Buck® Nighthawk with Black Oxide Coating

Buck has reprised Al Buck's personal favorite model, redesigned for today's hunter, using today's material, but with the same exacting standards that has keep Buck knives at the forefront of the knife industry. The original Kalinga was retired from the Buck catalog in 1997.

Buck Sambar Stag Folders

For their 2007 series of limited edition stag handled folders, Buck® has chosen three of their classic pocketknife designs, the Companion, Cadet, and Ranger. Each of these knives has been made in the Buck U.S.A. factory with the attention to detail that you expect in a Buck Limited Edition. Each piece has very nice Sambar Stag handle slabs and nickel silver bolsters and liners.

Each year Buck® creates a small group of customized knives using standard Buck® models. For 2008, among other models, they have created what they refer to as the Buck Guitar series. This series utilizes real guitar fret material and mother-of-pearl or abalone dots set in cocobolo or Indian rosewood handle scales.

Buck® 55 with Buffalo Horn

The Buck® 55 is a half-sized version of the Buck 110 Lockback, the knife the Buck company was built on. The 110 was developed in 1963, is still in production in Buck's Idaho manufacturing facility and has been copied by companies from around the globe. Buck® was so instrumental in the development of the lockback that the model was for a long time referred to as a Buck knife, no matter who the manufacturer was.

Buck® Gen-5™ Skinner Guitar

For 2008, Buck® has created a series of three knives inspired by the artistry of handcrafted guitars. The handles are crafted from actual guitar fret material and abalone dots set in rich cocobolo wood scales. The first in this series is the Buck® Gen-5, a fixed blade knife introduced in 2007.

Buck Alpha Hunter and Alpha Dorado with Giraffe Bone
