Virgil England Shantu Skate Knife

Virgil England has been making really wild fantasy knives, swords, helmets, huge dragon remains and other interesting pieces for many years. Never before has his work been reproduced at reasonable prices. His weapons are from a country that lives only in Virgil's imagination. This elegant finger-grip dagger is carried by the Shantu, the dispensers of justice in Virgil's "Hetlands" tales.

The Shantu Skate Knife is a 7-1/4" sweep of strongly convexed and blackened, tempered steel. The handle is leather. The butt, integral double ring guard and thumb support are coppered steel. Overall length is 12-1/4". Weighs 8.3 oz. When leather sheath with coppered steel accents is added, the weight is 10.3 oz.

The edge is not sharpened and is meant only to be a collector's item.
