For 2007, CRKT has developed a line of knives specifically for emergency rescue. The knives are based on CRKT production models with brushed blade finished for tip corrosion resistance in wet environments and handle scales that are a highly visible orange Zytel®.

Russ Kommer's Bear Claw has been a popular knife for us. It is a cutting machine that acts just like an extension of your hand, thanks to the generous size finger hole and the ergonomic shaped handle.

The Bear Claw E.R. has a Triple-Point^™ serrated edge and a tear drop tip for fast cutting without the danger of penetration, ideal for emergency rescue personnel. The blade is full-tang, taper ground AUS-4 stainless steel at 55-57 Rc. measures 2", and has friction grooves on the blade spine, choil and near the tip for maximum control. Measures 5-3/4" overall and weighs in at 3.2 oz. An injection molded multi-carry Zytel sheath completes the package. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail $44.99.
