Ek® Hunters

with Ironwood or Coral Rucarta

In the late 1990s, the Japanese manufacturers of blades for the Ek® Hunters asked us to help them out by purchasing the abandoned stock for four knives. With permission from the then owners of the Ek trademark, we purchased parts in various levels of completion including marked blades. We offered those to our customers beginning in 2005 with great success. The largest knife was completed with Maple Burl the three smaller sizes with India Stag.

Once again, we have a knifemaker in our shop and are completing the remaining blades. Blades are left for only the Magnum and the Medium Hunters. We have completed 80 Magnum Hunters with Ironwood and 40 Medium Hunters with Coral Rucarta. Both have full-length tangs. These were excellent knives and sold well. There are a very limited number of these knives completed and ready to ship. The blade steel is 440 stainless. We have finished the knives, adding the guards and handle scales in our own shop and include our own handcrafted leather sheath.
