The TDI Law Enforcement Knife was designed to be used as a "last option" knife. In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or an officer cannot access his handgun, the TDI knife is readily available. When worn on the pant belt the entire unit - knife and sheath - is well concealed. Designed by John Benner, owner of Tactical Defense Institute as an "off hand" knife that draws like a pistol. The reversible glass filled nylon sheath can be worn on either the right or left side of the officer's pant belt.
Made with a non-reflective black powder coated AUS-8 stainless at 57-59 Rc. and a textured Zytel® handle. The entire package, including sheath, weighs only 3.1 oz. Knife measures 5-5/8" overall. (The serrated blade is not shown.)
