Another innovation from Ken Onion, the designer of Kershaw's Speedsafe® technology. The Speed-Bump features Ken's innovative Bump "re-curve" blade, designed for minimal mass, maximum performance and multi-tasking efficiency. It also combines Speedsafe assisted opening with Kershaw's patented Stud Lock, the same locking mechanism found on the popular Mini Mojito. The knife opens by pulling the kick back or by using the thumbstud like most speed assisted knives, but the lock release is contained in the blade rather than the handle. Just push the spring-loaded thumbstud towards the tip of the blade and the lock is released. The Spec-Bump also has a safety to keep the knife safely closed while in you pocket.

The Onion designed Bump blade is Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel and measures 3-5/8". The handle is double injection-molded Akulon® with Santoprene® over-mold machined for improved grip. The pocket clip is positioned at the pivot for tip down carry. Weighs 5.0 oz. Measures 4-15/16" closed. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail $99.95.
