In 2006, SOG® created the Spec-Elite, making use of their proven Arc-Lock. With the attributes knife designers relentlessly search for -- strength, speed, safety, ambidexterity and durability, the Arc-Lock was independently lab tested at over 1000 lbs. of pressure without lock failure, and is self-adjusting for long-term, optimal performance. The spring-action provides fast and smooth one-handed opening, and a positive closing feature ensures that the blade securely stays within the handle when closed. Can be comfortably opened and closed with either hand.

The bead-blasted blades of tough AUS-8 stainless at 57-58 Rc. are designed for high performance with a reverse curve cutting edge. The handles are Zytel® with stainless liners and a stainless reversible low carry pocket clip. Made in Japan.
