Byrd knives are an entry-level series of knives designed, produced and imported by Spyderco. Just right for the budget conscious, these knives are hardworking and tough, with many design options. Each byrd knife features 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blades. 8Cr13MoV blade steel is similar to AUS-8 in its properties and performance. It contains both molybdenum and vanadium with close to 1% carbon content. Hollow ground drop point blades measure 3-7/8" and are available in either plain or combination edge. The comet shaped opening hole is a byrd knife trademark. Handles are available with either G-10 or FRN (Fiberglas Reinforced Nylon), with bi-directional textured handle and skeletonized nested liners.

Ambidextrous tip-up/tip-down pocket clip completes the package. Measures 4-3/4" closed and weighs 3.8 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail for G-10 $38.95 and for FRN $28.95.
