Each Meadowlark knife features a hollow ground 2-15/16" 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade at 57-59 Rc., available in either plain or combo edge. 8Cr13MoV blade steel is similar to AUS-8 in its properties and performance. It contains both molybdenum and vanadium with close to 1% carbon content. The comet shaped opening hole is a Byrd knife trademark. Handles are available with either G-10 or FRN (Fiberglas Reinforced Nylon), with bi-directional textured handle and skeletonized nested liners. Ambidextrous tip-up/tip-down pocket clip completes the package. Measures 4" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail for G-10 $36.95 and for FRN $26.95.
