"Pikal" is a word that comes from the Visayan dialect in the Phillipines and means "to rip". It is a martial arts genre accomplished by holding the knife in reverse grip with the sharpened edge facing inward toward the user. The P'Kal knife is a collaboration with Shivworks designed with this in mind.

The 3-3/16" plain edge blade of CPM S30V blade curves to a point to be comfortable when making downward, pulling cuts. Also, added is the Emerson Wave which allows, with practice, the user to open the knife by catching the deployment pin on the pants pocket and pulling in one smooth motion. Black G-10 handle supports Spyderco's patented Ball Bearing Lock which allows for easy one-handed closing. Reversible tip-up wire tension pocket clip included. Measures 4-1/8" closed and weighs 2.4 oz. Made in the U.S.A. SRP $259.95.
