Xikar®

Since 1997, Kansas City-based Xikar®, Inc., has swept the cigar cutter landscape like a prairie twister. Xikar is the Mayan word for the large, dark cicada, from which cigars - supposedly resembling - first derived their name. But while the Xikar® name harkens back in history, nearly every aspect of the company's innovative cutters are thoroughly modern - designed from the ground up, combining ergonomic functionality and contemporary aesthetics.

Xikar Excursion

Over the past few years, Xikar® has become the top supplier of high quality cigar cutters, humidors and smoking accessories. From the cigar cutters, it was an easy step to folding knives. In 2003, they introduced three models which they produced in Italy. The Excursion was one of those models. They are still selling several models introduced since then, they have discontinued the Excursion, and several other models introduced at the same time.

Xikar® Rainbow Folders

Both the Xikar Spectra Express and the Xikar Spectra Xian are small frame lock folders with a mid-frame, integral style removable pocket or money clip.

XiKar Explorer

The Explorer was introduced in 2004, it is a functional multi-use knife. The blade is a modified drop point of 440A stainless at 56-58 Rc. with a satin finish Measuring 3"; it has enough blade for almost any job you put it to.

Xikar 730 Express

The new Xikar Express is a patented little 3" closed frame lock with a handle and a half, just enough on the off side to cover the edge and protect the fingers.
