Schatt & Morgan 2005 President's Choice

A little over fifteen years ago, Queen Cutlery revived the grand old Schatt & Morgan mark for use with extra fine traditional knives. Each year, they make several knives in limited quantities for those of us who enjoy owning finely made traditional knives. For the past five years, they have produced a President's Choice knife. This fifth is a Cigar Whittler with fine Black Lip Pearl from Tahiti. The bolsters, spacer and liners are nickel silver.

The whittler blade arrangement consists of a 2" spearpoint main blade, a 1-7/16" pen and a 1-3/8" sheepfoot. All blades are D2 at 59-61 Rc. You know you are dealing with Schatt & Morgan quality when you look at the really fine finish of these blades. Measures 3-3/16" closed and weighs 1.7 oz.

The display is a 9" x 15" wall clock that might have been given to Schatt & Morgan dealers in the late 1800s or early 1900s. A beautiful addition to the home or office of anyone who loves fine knives. Knife and display are both made in the U. S. A. Each knife is serial numbered and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Suggested retail is $307.90.
